Walter Donelian, 81

West Palm Beach, FL - Walter Donelian, 81,of West Palm Beach, FL died Saturday, May 5, 2007 at his residence after a long illness.

Born in Messina, NY, he was the son of the late Harry Donelian and Serpoohie (Almasian) Donelian.

He had resided in Albany after World War II and in Troy for 40 years prior to moving to Florida in 1992. He attended Messina High School.

Mr. Donelian was a meat cutter for A&P Market in Wynantskill for 28 years, retiring 20 years ago and later worked at Star Supermarket in Colonie with his brother.

He was a member of the Masonic Temple in Albany, the Troy Lodge of Elks and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived a daughter, Marilynn Eckert (Robert) of Malta; a son, Robert Donelian of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; a grandson, Jeffrey Eckert; his former wife Dorothy Mikhitarian Donelian and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Stepanos Doudoukjian, officiating.

Interment Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands.
