Vivian Francesca Pettine Haid, 97

East Greenbush - Vivian Francesca Pettine Haid, 97, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy, New York.

She was born in Providence RI and formerly lived in Danbury, Ct and Clearwater Fl.

She is survived by one son William (Joan Wicklun) Haid of Naugatuck Ct. and two grandchildren Brian and Barbara Jean Haid of Ct. and daughters in law Nancy Haid of Florida and Carol Gundersen Haid of Troy and a host of nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Richard Carle Haid and two sons Alan D. Haid and Donald B. Haid pre-deceased her.

Vivian was a charter member of the Van Rensselaer Chapter, of Troy. She was a direct descendent of the following American Revolution patriots: Maj. Samuel Phillips, Judge Ezekiel Gardiner, Nicholas Gardiner and Job Sweet of the Bone-setter Sweets all from Rhode Island.

She was a devoted wife and mother throughout her lifetime and was an avid reader.

There will be no calling hours or services.
