Vivian M. Nadeau Frazee, 87

Brunswick - Vivian M. Nadeau Frazee, 87, of Lansing Road died Tuesday, March 03, 2009, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after an extended illness.

Born and raised in Cohoes, she was daughter of the late Edward Nadeau and Aurore Lussier Nadeau and beloved wife for 66 years of Norman L. Frazee. She resided in Cohoes for 21 years until she married and moved to Speigletown. She was a graduate of Cohoes High School and studied to be a child's nurse at St. Joseph's Infant Home. She lived in Troy and Brunswick for the past 61 years.

Vivian worked at the Watervliet Arsenal as a machine operator during World War II where she met her husband. She was a homemaker, cherished wife and loving mother. She was an active volunteer for 20 years at Our Lady of Hope Residence in Latham.

She was a member of the Taconic Hiking Club, Altar Rosary Society and enjoyed gardening, nature, the Adirondacks and 40 years of family reunions at Minerva Lake. She loved to travel and took several trips out west and to Hawaii.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children, N. Bruce (Elizabeth) Frazee of Fairport, NY, Bonnie (David Foster) Berg of Palo Alto, CA, Brian (Ruth) Frazee of Poestenkill, E. Brent (Dona) Frazee of Eagle Mills, Betty (Andre) Jones of Grafton, Blake (Christine) Frazee of Ravena and Brad (Sharon) Frazee of Speigletown; her grandchildren, Donovan Frazee, Deidre Gathers, Nelson, Alisha, Nicolas ,Lauren, and Jenna Frazee, Nathan Jones, Holly Rosenberg, Hannah and Russell Jones, Dana Sharp and Virginia and Russell Frazee; her sisters, Lucille Miron and Evelyn Charette; a brother, Edward Nadeau; 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Nadeau.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Albany Medical Center E5 for their kindness, patience and the extraordinary care they provided Vivian.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Chapel, 1 Jeanne Jugan Lane, Latham where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue, Troy on Friday from 4-7 PM.

Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
