Veronica L. Popson Episcopo, 79

Webster, NY - Veronica L. Popson Episcopo, 79, lovingly known as 'Mema', of Bright Stream Way Webster died Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Rochester General Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Highland, PA, she was daughter of the late George M. Popson and Catherine Urtinus Popson and wife of the late Philip F. Episcopo. She had resided in Highland, PA for 20 years, New York City area for several years, Long Island from 1960-96 and later Jay, NY, eventually settling in Rochester. She attended school in Highland, PA and a graduate of beauty school in Brooklyn where she worked as a hairdresser for several years and met her husband.

Mrs. Episcopo in addition to being a hairdresser was a homemaker.

She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, spending time with her family, watching Bob Ross and an avid NY Yankees fan.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis (Frank) White, Clifton Park; two sons, Steven P. (Eleanor) Episcopo, Troy and Robert S. (MaryBeth) Episcopo, Webster, NY; two sisters, Albina Breslin and Catherine Ursta; her grandchildren, Kristin Bissell, Randy White and Andrew, Kevin, Julianne, Alex, Isabella and Casey Episcopo and a great granddaughter, Kahlen Bissell. She was predeceased by her siblings, Andy, Joe, Betty, Mary and Anne.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Wednesday from 8:30-11AM with a funeral service at 11 AM with Rev. Randall Patterson, officiating.

Interment will be in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery Schuylerville.
