Vasken Bagdasarian

Vasken (Vaskan) Bagdasarian, 75 Albany Vasken (Vaskan) Bagdasarian, 75, of Eden Park Nursing Home Holland Avenue, died Wednesday at Albany Medical Center Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Watervliet, he was son of the late Mesrob and Hasnig Moroukian Bagdasarian. He had resided in Watervliet until 1937, Troy until 1949 and in Albany for 52 years. Mr. Bagdasarian was employed at Huyck Mills in Rensselaer many years ago. He was a member of the Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church in Troy. Survivors include his sister Margaret Bagdasarian of Albany; a sister-in-law Adrienne Kenderian of Watervliet; two nieces Suzanne J. Dickinson of Colonie and Jayne Kenderian Moore of Schenectady; a nephew Ronald V. Kenderian of Nanuet, NY and several great nieces and a great nephew. He was predeceased by two brothers Vahan and Veram Kenderian. Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands. Contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Bagdasarian to the Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church 101 Spring Avenue Troy, NY 12180.
