Tracie J. Slichko Rockefeller, 55

Averill Park - Tracie J. Slichko Rockefeller, 55, of Snyders Corners Road died Saturday, February 22, 2014, at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of Marjorie Peterson Slichko of Watervliet and the late Peter Slichko and and wife of Doug P. Rockefeller. She was raised in Watervliet and resided in Averill Park for 40 years.

Tracie was a homemaker who enjoyed working along side her husband, Doug Rockefeller.

She loved NASCAR, classic car shows, riding in Doug's Corvette, taking care of her family and attended the Daytona 500 twice.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include four daughters, Tracie M. Rockefeller, Richlands, NC, Kelly A. (Charles) Brand, Petersburg, Candace L. Rockefeller, Averill Park and Amanda A. Rockefeller, Averill Park; a grandson, Charlie Brand; a sister, Terry Jordan, Cohoes; a brother, Michael Slichko, Watervliet; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Donald J. Rockefeller, Barbara J. Stout, Sandra L. Clemente and Sharon A. Lewis and many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Tuesday, from 5-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 AM at the funeral home and at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas, Pastor.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery Wynantskill.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Tracie J. Rockefeller to the American Cancer Society One Penny Lane Latham, NY 12110.
