Todd Chadwick Wilson, 42

TROY- Todd Chadwick Wilson, 42, died of lung cancer at his home in San Francisco, CA on Sept. 4, 2005. Born in Troy, NY, he was the cherished son of Aline Wilson of E. Greenbush, NY and Dwight Wilson of E. Orleans, MA. Todd was a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and a student at RPI. Prior to his death, he was a computer consultant for the Pacific Gas and Electric Co.. He became an independent film maker in San Francisco, winning top audience awards at gay film festivals around the world. Todd was an advocate for the gay rights movement and had been an active member and elder of the First United Presbyterian Church when he lived in Troy.

He is survived by his parents, step-mother Alice Wilson, brothers Win, Rob and Elliott, and his partner Chris Chung.

A remembrance service is set for 11AM Saturday, Nov. 5 at the First United Presbyterian Church in Troy, with Rev. Alexandra Lusak leading the service.
