Todd M. LaClair, 39

Averill Park Todd M. LaClair, 39, of Meadow Road, died Sunday in Old Forge, NY due to injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident.

Born in Malone, NY he was son of Christina Miller Groves and Robert of Waterford and Richard P. LaClair and Barbara of Wynantskill and fiancé of Brenda J. Mahar. He had resided in Churubusco, NY for 4 years and most of his life in Averill Park and was educated at Averill Park High School and Modern School of Welding in Schenectady. While in high school, he was a member of the wrestling team.

Mr. LaClair was a pipe fitter for Lydall Manning in Green Island for the past 13 years.

He loved race cars and snowmobiles and was an avid race fan.

Survivors in addition to his parents and fiancé include two sons Branden Michael LaClair and Bradley Todd LaClair both of Averill Park; a step son William Mahar of Averill Park, a sister Penny Malone and friend James Chenette of Schodack; two step brothers Robert Scott Groves of Nassau and Darren W. Groves of Averill Park and a nephew Jon Malone of Schodack and several additional nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9:30am from St. Henry's Church in Averill Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenues in Troy Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment St. Henry's Cemetery in Averill Park.
