Timothy Patrick Malone, 45

Charleston, NY - Timothy Patrick Malone, 45, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam after being stricken at work.

Tim was born on February 10, 1963 in Perth Amboy, NJ, moving to North Greenbush as a child. and recently purchased a home in Charleston.

He was employed by Mohawk Resources Ltd. in Amsterdam , a manufacturer of garage lifts, as the National Sales Manager. He worked with accounts such as the US Postal Service and Waste Management. He was an integral and loyal employee for 23 years and said many times that Mohawk was his family. Tim will be remembered as a sales teacher and a leader who would make people laugh every day.

Tim was an avid outdoorsman and truly loved every season. He found something to keep him outdoors, from fly fishing in the spring to snowmobiling and hunting in the winter. Some of Tim's favorite activities were creating a magnificent bonfire with friends, sharing a libation and spreading his infectious laugh.

He will be horribly missed by his parents, Bob and Betty Malone of Maryland, his son, Jon Malone of Averill Park, a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Michael Rockwell of Maryland, a niece, Katie Varney and many aunts, uncles, cousins, his beloved Elizabeth, with whom he shared his life and his beloved bloodhound, Rupert, who will spent endless days searching for his dad. To help someone else, Tim, donated his organs.

Funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:00 PM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 11am - 1 pm, prior to the service.

Interment will be in St. Henry's Cemetery in Averill Park.

Contributions may be made in memory of Timothy P. Malone to the American Heart Association.
