Timothy R. Kane, Sr, 58

North Greenbush - Timothy R. Kane, Sr., 58, of Frederick Place died Saturday, September 28, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.

Born in Troy, he was son of Helen Sarah Brower Kane, North Greenbush and the late Patrick Joseph Kane Jr. and husband of Karen Tobin Kane.

He had resided in Troy area most of his life only recently moving to North Greenbush. he attended Troy school and earned an associate's degree from Hudson Valley Community College in electrical construction and maintenance.

Tim was employed for 31 years at Time Warner Cable first as an installer and later as a quality control technician.

He maintained several properties for his parents and enjoyed his weekend trips to Home Depot.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include his 2 children, Timothy (Jessica) Kane Jr., Troy, and Jamie Marie Kane, N. Greenbush; his siblings, Susan (Martin) Gibbons, Averill Park, Patrick Joseph (Kimberley) Kane III, N. Greenbush, and Kathleen Ann (Robert) Schmidt, Brunswick, several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Sadie Marie.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Tuesday, from 4- 7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, at 9:30 AM at the funeral home and at 10 AM at St. Michael's Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
