Thomas J. 'TJ' Reed

Pittstown - Thomas J. ‘TJ’ Reed, 48, of Seaver Way died Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Portland, ME, he was the son of Thomas M. Reed and Geraldine A. Henry Reed of Defreestville and husband for 11 years of Michelle Missenis Reed. He was raised in Defreestville and resided in Pittstown for the past 11 years and was a graduate of Columbia High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College. 

T.J. was employed as a machinist for Norton Company in Watervliet for the past 27 years.  

He was a Denver Broncos fan and enjoyed NASCAR and attending races at Lebanon Valley Speedway.    

Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include two brothers,  John M. (Valerie) Reed, Defreestville and James D. (Jessica) Reed, Rotterdam, his mother-in-law, Janet Margaret Breen, Troy,  and his niece and nephew, Kiera and Luke Reed.  

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Karyl Hopp, officiating.
                                        
Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands.
