Theresa A. (Maloney) Fontana

Troy - Theresa A. Maloney Fontana, 60, of Gregory Court  died suddenly Monday, January 15, 2018, at Samaritan Hospital.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late James Maloney and Johanna Agatha Ryan and wife for 35 years of Marco A.  Fontana. She had resided in the Troy area all her life and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School. 

Mrs. Fontana was a homemaker. 

She loved spending time with her family and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.    

Survivors in addition to her husband include a son, Marc Fontana, Brooklyn a daughter, Carly Fontana, Troy; a granddaughter, Lucia Theresa; two sisters, Carol (Jerome) Vitagliano and Kathleen (Pasquale) Moffrie; two brother, James (Theresa) Maloney and Kevin (Karen) Maloney; a sister-in-law, Nicky (Charles) Breiner; and several nieces and nephews.   She was predeceased by a sister, Shiela Maloney and a brother, Joseph Maloney.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Friday at 10 AM at the funeral home and at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Interment will be in  St. Joseph's Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Theresa Fontana to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
