Theresa M. (Czech) Dickinson

Troy -  Theresa M. Czech Dickinson, 96, of Sanford Avenue died Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Van Rensselaer Manor Rehabilitation after a brief illness.

Born in Malta, she was daughter of the late Joseph Czech and Katherine Kosiba Czech and wife for 67 years of the late Raymond Edward Dickinson. She was raised on Third Street in Cohoes in St. Michael's Parish and resided on Sanford Ave in Troy for the past 66 years and was a graduate of Cohoes High School and Albany business school. 

Mrs. Dickinson worked as Office Manager for Ehrlich Supply and EASCO Warehouse for 65 years, with Ray, her husband, retiring in 1988 and later was secretary-treasurer of REDCO Supply Inc. in Troy working with her husband and son.

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and the Altar Rosary Society and for 67 years supported her husband in his memberships and interests. 

Survivors include a son, Edward Raymond Dickinson, Troy; a grandson, Todd Edward Dickinson, Troy and many nieces and nephews both in and out of the area. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Czech Skowronek, Amsterdam and a brother, Charles  J. Czech Sr., Troy.

Relatives and friends may call at Sacred Heart Church Pawling Avenue Troy on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 10-11 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 AM by Rev. James J. Vaughan, officiating.

Interment will be in  St. Michael's Cemetery Waterford.
