Theresa Cote, 83

Wynantskill - Theresa B. Knauer Cote, 83, formerly of Sharpe Road died Sunday, August 30, 2009, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Nicholas Knauer and Anna Heinike Knauer and wife of the late Sgt. F.C. Alfred C. Cote. She had resided in Brunswick most of her life and was a graduate of Troy High School and Albany Business College.

Mrs. Cote was a bookkeeper for many years at Union - Fern and for many years was a homemaker.

She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy.

Theresa loved her garden, her animals and the farm. She enjoyed life, family and friends.

Survivors include four daughters, Jean Cote Hill of Wynantskill, Doreen Fitzgerald (Stephen) of Troy, Pauline (Martin Monin) Cote of Pittsford and Marjorie (David) Terzian of San Diego; a brother, Laurence Knauer of Wynantskill; two sisters, Helen Wilbrandt of North Petersburgh and Cecilia Allen of CA ; 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Henry and Nicholas Knauer and one sister Anna Mary Knauer

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 PM.

Interment will be in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery Schuylerville.
