Sue J. Mariano Reo, 77

Wynantskill- Sue J. Mariano Reo, 77,of Judd Lane, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Mariano and Mary (Carnevale) Mariano and wife for 54 years of Robert J. Reo Sr.

She was raised in Troy and resided in Wynantskill for the past 46 years and attended Troy High School.

Mrs. Reo was a homemaker and many years ago, worked at Berk-Ray in the shipping department and later at Wultex in Troy.

A loving wife and mother, she enjoyed cooking for her family. She was a longtime Communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her daughter, Mary Valente (Roddy) of Loudonville; four sons, Robert J. Reo Jr. (Carna) of Troy, David A. Reo (Deborah) of Wynantskill, Michael E. Reo of Wynantskill and Steven E. Reo (Shannon) of Poestenkill; a sister, Joan Ruf of Albany; four brothers, Joseph Mariano of Troy, Michael Mariano of North Greenbush, John Mariano of Cohoes and James Mariano of Troy; 12 grandchildren, a great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony and Nicholas Mariano and two sisters, Patricia Keegan and Mary Jane Valenti.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 10:00 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Salvatore Rodino, Pastor.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4-8 PM.

Entombment St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum in Troy.
