Stacey A. Teidman, 44

West Sand Lake - Stacey A. Teidman, 44, of Route 150, died suddenly Thursday, March 23, 2006 after being involved in an automobile accident.

Born in Norwich, NY she was the loving and caring wife for 24 years of David W. Teidman and mother of Kenneth R. Teidman (23), she was the daughter of JoAnn Dobert (Craig Sr.) of the Villages, FL and Robert F. Carpenter Jr. (Joan Gross) of Taborton; mother-in-law, Carol Parks of Glenmont; and granddaughter of Izora Carpenter of Mineville, NY.

In her early years, she was an avid skier and softball player. She played softball for Classie Lassie Softball League and later in an adult softball league. She also coached a Classie Lassie team with family members. Stacey enjoyed crafts, cruising, snowmobiling and as a stock car enthusiast, drove stock car in 1983. She was an avid Jeff Gordon NASCAR fan and was her son's number one fan whether he was racing go-carts or currently snowmobiles. She was also the "Crew Chief" for her husband's pro-stock race car. Whatever she did or was involved with she kept everyone organized and she did great.

Stacey had many true friends and will be greatly missed. Stacey was like a rock you could lean on and gave her family the strength to conquer anything. She was always there to care for any of us and when things were going bad, she had the strength to make it good . She loved our dog Meco and our lives were made complete with her. I miss her with all my heart and will love her always. Husband, Dave.

She had resided in the West Sand Lake area most of her life and was a 1980 graduate of Averill Park High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College.

Stacey worked in management at NAPA Auto Parts in West Sand Lake for the past 4 years and had previously worked at Ackner Fuels, Community Mutual Insurance, Capital Mutual Insurance, Bubie's Store, Benson Bros., Dobert's Refuse, Travelers Insurance and ENCON.

Survivors in addition to her husband, son, parents, and grandmother include sisters and brothers, Lisa Carpenter (Tony Leigh) of St. Cloud, FL, Robin Dengel (Dennis) of Alpharetta, GA, Baron Dobert (Daphne) of Hurricane, WV, Delores Chamberlain (Todd) of Gloucester, VA, Craig Dobert, Jr. (Lorie) of Greensboro, NC, Lisa Allison Ward (Ken) of Asheboro, NC and James Gross Jr. (Dianna) of E.Schodack; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Dale and Wendy Teidman of West Sand Lake and Donald Teidman of Glenmont and many nieces and nephews, including Joel and Kathryn Teidman, Krystal Leigh, Kayla Dengel.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Salem United Methodist Church , Shaver Rd. in West Sand Lake with Rev. Dr. Patricia A. Bush, Pastor, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the CHURCH, Monday from 4-8 p.m.

Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in West Sand Lake.
