Shirley V. Thierbecker Chamberlin, 66

West Sand Lake - Shirley V. Thierbecker Chamberlin, 66,of Chamberlin Hill Road Extension, died Sunday, December 24, 2006 at her residence after a brief illness.

Born, raised and educated in Watervliet, she was the daughter of the late Frank Thierbecker and the late Violet (Hartman) Thierbeckerand wife for 47 years of Howard P. Chamberlin.

She had resided in West Sand Lake since 1962.

Mrs. Chamberlin was a cook for the East Greenbush Schools for 36 years, retiring in June of this year. She was a former member of the North Reformed Church of Watervliet.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter, Bonnie J. McKay (Walter S.) of East Greenbush; a son, Thomas H. Chamberlin (Nancy L.) of West Sand Lake, four grandchildren, Kristee J. McKay of West Sand Lake, Amber J. McKay of East Greenbush and Thomas H. Chamberlin Jr. and Sara E. Chamberlin both of West Sand Lake; two great grandchildren, Chelsee J. McKay and Nevaeh N. Chamberlin; a sister, Joyce Dodge of Averill Park; a brother, Frank Thierbecker of Averill Park and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Carol J. Houser and a brother, Robert Thierbecker.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake with Rev. Frank Houser, a nephew, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-6PM prior to the service. Interment Elmwood Cemetery in West Sand Lake.
