Niskayuna - Shahe Panjarjian, 64,of St. David's Lane, died Friday, November 16, 2007 at his residence after a brief illness.
Born and raised in Aleppo Syria,, he was the son of the late Hrant Panjarjian and Yeranik (Yaghlian) Panjarjian and husband of Marie Bilanian Panjarjian.
At a very young age, he dreamed of coming to the United States and building his future in this country.
While in Aleppo College, he had already made up his mind, and nothing could stop him from pursuing his dream.
He established his beauty shop in the Capital District where he liked to stay, have his family and serve his beloved St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church by singing in the choir for many years, and then serving on the Board of Trustees.
He was a former member of the Knights of Vartan, Davids Lodge.
Most of all, he was a family man. He leaves behind his loving wife, Marie Bilanian Panjarjian and his cherished son, Ara.
He is survived by a sister, Seta Degirmenjian and her husband Kevork, of Toronto, Canada and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him and will miss him very much.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church 100 Troy - Schenectady Road Watervliet with Rev. Bedros Kadehjian, Pastor, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the CHURCH Monday from 5-8 PM.
Interment Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands.
