Sarah A. (Condon) Trevail

Averill Park - Sarah A. Condon Trevail, 97, formerly of Algonquin Beach Road died Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Van Rensselaer Manor.

Born in South Bethlehem, NY, she was daughter of the late Fred Condon and Kate Whitbeck Condon and wife of the late Lionel T. Trevail. She had resided in Averill Park for over 60 years and was a graduate of Coeymans High School and Mildred Elley. 

Mrs. Trevail was a bookkeeper for Crowley Milk and for 12 years at Barber and Bennett in the Port of Albany retiring in 1983.

She was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church in West Sand Lake where she was the financial secretary for many years and a member of the church choir for over 60 years.  She was a member of the United Methodist Women and bowled many years at Hi-Way Recreation in Wynantskill.    

Survivors include a nephew, Reid G. (Beverly) Condon of Greenville.   She was predeceased by a brother, Reid W. Condon.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  4392 Route 150, West Sand Lake on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 12 noon-1PM with a service at 1PM with Rev. Dr. Patricia A. Bush, officiating. 

Interment will be in  Mt. Pleasant Cemetery South Bethlehem in the spring.
