Ruth A. Nazarian, 83

Cohoes - Ruth A. Nazarian, 83, of Pasinella Way died Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Eddy Village Green after a long illness.

Born in New York City, she was daughter of the late John and Stella Schufelt Egan and wife of the late Albert Nazarian. She was raised by stepparents, John and Ann Dee. She was a long time resident of Troy residing on Derrick Avenue in Brunswick for many years and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mrs. Nazarian was a business representative for the New York Telephone Company for over 35 years.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church and enjoyed playing electronic crossword puzzles.

Survivors include two nieces, Diana (David) Lloyd, Wynantskill and Deborah (Steven) Sawyer, Troy; a brother, John Dee; a sister, Jackie Ward; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Trudy Nazarian and several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Delores Martin.

Relatives and friends may call at Our Lady of Victory Church North Lake Avenue Troy on Saturday, from 9-10 AM with where a Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM with Rev. Randall Patterson, officiating.

Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
