Poestenkill Ruth A. Link Church,77,of Route 66 Poestenkill, died Sunday, June 12, 2005 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.

Born in Poestenkill, she was the daughter of the late Minard Orcutt Link and Myra (Carner) Link and wife of the late Harry C. Church.

She had resided all her life on the family farm in Poestenkill and was educated at Averill Park High School.

Mrs. Church was a longtime active member, choir member and Sunday school teacher of the First Reformed Church in Wynantskill. A top notch lady, she loved her family with all her heart. She was a wife, mother, farmer, homemaker and friend to all.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Sue Evensen (Donald) of West Sand Lake, Rory Anne DiMario (Carmen) of Westchester, PA and Amy Colleen Valenti (Gary) of Poestenkill; three sisters Vivian Frances Borden (Elton) of Easton, Beverly Catherine French of Tacoma, WA, and Norma Jane Coonradt of Averill Park; six grandchildren, Holly Anne DiMario and Carmen Clark DiMario both of Westchester, Tyson Brock Evensen and Darrick Trent Evensen both of West Sand Lake and Alexander Orcutt Valenti and Anastasia Brynn Valenti both of Poestenkill and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor May Bohannon.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the First Reformed Church of Wynantskill Church Street and Main Avenue Wynantskill with Rev. Kerri Haveman, Pastor, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Thursday from 5-8 PM. Interment Evergreen Cemetery in Wynantskill.
