Ruth Lois Bywater , 75

Colonie Ruth Lois Bywater , 75 , died Sunday, May 30, 2004 at Albany County Nursing Home in Colonie after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Fred W. Bywater and the late Emma (Smith) Bywater.

She had resided in Troy most of her life and was educated at Lansingburgh High School.

Miss Bywater was employed as a sewing machine operator for Marvin-Neitzel Uniform Company in Troy for many years.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and a special friend Carol McGivern. She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles J. Bywater and Fred J. Bywater and a sister, Jane Beverly Gilbert.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, at 8:45 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 9:30 AM at St. Augustine's Church Lansingburgh where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, in Troy.
