Ruthie lived with Aaron and Riki on the street next to me when I was growing up; she and my mom, Jane, were best buddies. This splendid lady demonstrated to everyone around her what love, loyalty, kindness, resiliency, a keen sense of humor, a fierce intelligence, and a creative spirit look like. Spontaneous, quick to laugh and fun to be around, Ruth helped inspire in a sense of wonder at the world and an appreciation for witty conversation in the children lucky enough to be around her. She was like no one else I've ever known; I felt safe with her and I loved her very much. Good-bye dear Ruthie, and please give Grandpa Art a kiss from me when you see him.

I met Ruth 4 years ago when she became my next door neighbor. We became very good friends immediately. We laughed a lot, discussed our lives a lot and got to know each other. I will miss her. My condolences to her family.

I was so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. Her suffering is now at an end and I believe her new journey will be filled with family, friends and God.

She will be missed by all who know her and expecially the class of '59.

My love goes out to her Sisters and prayers for all.

Rest in peace, Ruth you deserve it.

Ruth was one of the strongest women I have ever known. Her keen sense of humor and love of family got her through life's adversities. My condolences to her family.

I worked with Ruth. She was a great person who loved her children and life. I think of her often and I'm sorry I didn't stay in touch.
