Ruth P. Laughlin Bonesteel, 80

Troy - Ruth P. Laughlin Bonesteel, 80, of Westfall Avenue died Friday, December 21, 2012, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Daniel Laughlin and Priscilla Smith Laughlin and wife of the late William F. Bonesteel. She was raised in Lansingburgh, had resided in the Troy area all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mrs. Bonesteel was employed as a file clerk for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance for many years.

Ruth was a communicant of St. John's Episcopal Church in Troy and loved animals.

Survivors include two daughters, Wendy Ruth Hotte, Troy and Donna Anne (Thomas) Keyser, Troy; a son, Wayne Daniel Bonesteel, Troy; 5 grandchildren, Lisa Keyser, Jovahn, Jenelle, and Joleigh Hotte and Katelynn Bonesteel and a great granddaughter, Nevaeh. She was predeceased a brother, Daniel Laughlin, Jr.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday from 4-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 9:30 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Stephen Schlossberg, Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Memory Gardens Colonie.
