Russell J. Henry

Wynantskill - Russell J. Henry, 41, of Bellemeade Street died suddenly, unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep, Friday, June 19, 2015, at his residence.

Born in Troy, Russell was son to Robert M. Sr. and Maryann Henry. For the past 36 years he lived in Wynantskill. He was a graduate of LaSalle Institute in Troy. 

Russell had been a lock operator for the New York State Canal Corporation for the past 11 years.  

He enjoyed music and his guitar and spending time with family, especially his nieces.  He was a war history buff.    

Survivors in addition to his parents include his brother, Robert M.  and (Jessica) Henry, Jr., Troy and 2 nieces, Kaitlyn and Sarah Henry.  

Funeral service private at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in  Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
