Troy - Rose C. D'Alessandro Reeves, of Eaton Road died suddenly Thursday, August 12, 2010, at St. Peter's Hospital Albany.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Peter D'Alessandro and Agnes Rubino D'Alessandro and wife for 55 years of retired RPI Professor Robert R. Reeves Ph.D. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Troy schools and Mildred Elley.

Mrs. Reeves was a homemaker.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a son, R. Russell (Judi) Reeves of Troy; a daughter, Andrea (Bijan) Davari of Mahopac, NY; a sister, Angela D'Alessandro of Troy and five grandchildren, Laurie (Ameya) Deoras, Robert Reeves, Danielle Davari and Stephen and John Reeves. She was predeceased by her son, John Reeves.

Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Troy. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Rose C. Reeves to the Wildwood Foundation 2995 Curry Road Extension Schenectady, NY 12303 or the charity of one's choice.
