Roger S. Folmsbee, 67

Pittstown - Roger S. Folmsbee, 67, of Brundige Road died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late Harold Folmsbee and Margaret Kelly Folmsbee. He was raised in Center Brunswick, lived in Wynantskill for many years and has resided in Pittstown for the past 5 years and a graduate of Tamarac High School.

Roger was President of Folmsbee Transportation Inc. in Waterford. He was a Navy veteran serving in Vietnam.

Roger was a member of the American Model Association and enjoyed flying remote controlled airplanes, watching NASCAR, fishing and hunting. He was a major sponsor and team player of Cale Kneer #10 Pro Stock racing at Lebanon Valley Speedway and other tracks.

Survivors include his two daughters, Tina (Tim) Foland, FL and Tammy Folmsbee, Troy; his siblings, Paul E. (Loreen) Folmsbee, Pittstown and Joan Wilcox, Vero Beach, FL; two grandsons, Tyler and Tommy Foland, FL; two nephews, Joe Folmsbee, Pittstown, and Ray Folmsbee, Poestenkill; two nieces, Barbara Delamater and Terry; and his best friend, his dog Bonzi. He was predeceased by his son, Shane Robert Folmsbee and brother, H. Raymond Folmsbee.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday from 4-8 PM.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy Owens, Pastor of Grace Fellowship, officiating.

Interment will be in Eagle Mills Cemetery Eagle Mills.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Roger S. Folmsbee to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
