Robert J. Weatherwax, 53

Brunswick Robert J. Weatherwax, 53 ,of South Lake Avenue Brunswick, died Thursday, March 25, 2004 after a brief illness at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.

Born in Troy, he was husband of Barbara A. Stacy Weatherwax and son of Eleanor Amadon Weatherwax of Troy and the late Myron Weatherwax . He had resided in the Troy area all his life and was a graduate of Troy High School class of 1969.

Bob was a self employed general contractor operating RJW Enterprises and formerly Weatherwax Construction in Brunswick since 1982.

He was a member of Emerald Athletic Club in Troy and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include his beloved children, Michael (Elizabeth Nast) Weatherwax of Methuen, Mass., Bryan R. (Jessie Casey) Weatherwax of Troy, Stacey E. (Drew J.) Prescott of Brunswick and Eric B. Weatherwax of Brunswick; a sister, Carolyn (Benjamin) Pinzer of Brunswick; a brother, George ( late Elizabeth) Weatherwax of North Troy; a sister-in-law-Patricia Weatherwax of Troy; his grandchildren, Adeline Victoria Weatherwax and Parker Robert Prescott and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, David Weatherwax.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at 10:00am at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. corner of Pawling and Maple Avenues Troy and at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Church in Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8pm. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, in Troy.
