Robert 'Rob' Ryan John Vieira ,21

East Poestenkill Robert 'Rob' Ryan John Vieira ,21,of Plank Road died suddenly Saturday, July 23, 2005 after being involved in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Yonkers, NY, he was the son of Robert John Vieira and Eileen Mary (Ryan) Vieira of East Poestenkill.

He was raised in the Bronx and resided in East Poestenkill since 1987 and was a 2002 graduate of Averill Park High School.

Rob was active, for many years, in Twin Town Little League and played baseball and soccer at Averill Park High School.

Survivors in addition to his parents include two sisters, Ann Vieira of Lenox, MA. and Emily Vieira of East Poestenkill; his paternal grandfather, John Vieira of Virginia; several aunts and uncles, Peggy, Catherine and John Ryan, John Vieira, Arlene Santis and John, Larry, Joe, Dan, Lou, David and George Vieira; his cousins, Jake Ryan, Meghan and Colleen O'Hanlon, Dan Vieira several additional cousins.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Henry's Church Old Route 66 Averill Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Tuesday from 4- 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Robert Vieira to the Albany Medical Center Hospital for Cancer Treatment New Scotland Avenue Albany, NY 12208.
