Robert A. Reger

North Greenbush - Robert A. Reger, 78, of Elward Road died Friday, April 1, 2016, at his residence after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late Julius Reger and Barbara Hartman Reger. He had resided in Troy and North Greenbush all of his life and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and the General Electric Apprentice Program. 

Mr. Reger was a Draftsman for General Electric in Schenectady for 38 years, retiring 23 years ago.   

He was a member of the Troy Lodge of Elks and enjoyed cooking, carpentry, traveling and loved spending time with his 5 grandchildren.

Survivors include his beloved companion, Judith 'Judi' Fazioli, North Greenbush; a daughter, Lisa R. (Glenn) Stewart, Doylestown, PA; a son, R. Keith (Nancy) Reger, West Sand Lake; five grandchildren, Alexandra, Skyler and Shelby Stewart and Kevin and Justin Reger and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Reger.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9 AM at the funeral home and at 9:30 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Anthony Ligato, Pastor.

Interment will be in  St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
