Robert James Dooley, 71

Averill Park Robert James Dooley, 71, of Snake Hill Road, died Tuesday at Samaritan Hospital Troy.

Born in Manchester, VT he was son of the late Richard J. Dooley and Edna Hewes Dooley Rinaldi, step son of the late Carl Rinaldi and husband for 47 years of Mary Warnock Dooley. He was raised in Albany, a graduate of Albany High School and came to the West Sand Lake and Averill Park areas in the early 1950's.

Mr. Dooley owned and operated a plumbing and heating repair service in the Averill Park area for over 25 years, retiring 9 years ago.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons, Anthony A. LaRose of Averill Park and Jeffrey James Dooley (Donna) of Albany; a daughter, Tracey Anne Dooley of Brunswick; a sister Janice King (Myron) of Phoenix, AZ; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Dooley of West Sand Lake; four grandchildren, Edward LaRose, Logan Dooley, Gina Dooley-Ritchie and Giovanna Dooley; two great-grandchildren, Christiano Rotolo and Sebastian James Dooley and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, David L. Dooley.

Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.
