Richard L. Gushlaw Sr., 66

Troy - Richard L. Gushlaw Sr., 66,of Diamond Rock Terrace Apartments in North Troy, died Monday, November 27, 2006 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a long illness.

Born in Potsdam, NY, he was the son of the late Howard Gushlaw and Mildred (Despaw) Gushlaw. He was a lifelong resident of Troy and was educated in Potsdam, NY schools.

Mr. Gushlaw was an independent general contractor many years ago.

He is survived by two sons, Richard L. Gushlaw Jr. of Troy and Scott A. Gushlaw of Schenectady; three daughters, Tina M. Stoliker, Melissa A. Gushlaw and Crystal L. Gushlaw all of Troy; a sister, Diane Bond of Norfolk, NY; two brothers, Tony Gushlaw of Norfolk, NY and James Gushlaw of Rhode Island and 10 grandchildren, Dedra, Richard III, Jenna, Cory, Alayna, Sydney, Alyssa, Alexia, Amber and Ashley.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Michael Crandall, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 6-8PM.
