To John and the Lape family, I offer my sincere sympathies for your family's loss. Actually, it's a loss for so many of us--the folks who knew "Jugger." He certainly was one of a kind, and someone I feel fortunate to have met and worked with. Helping him restock the shelves at Miller's, joking around and chatting about the Yankees, etc., helped make the time pass more quickly on Saturdays. He truly was one of a kind, and he'll always have a special place in my memory.

No one could compete with Jugger & Edie's holiday decorations and fun! We tried but, although they enjoyed watching us across the street and gave us a hurrah, we failed in comparison! p.s.: he 'confided' to us about the Mack fire truck! (his version). Say Hey, Jugger – I will never forget how you made those long Saturdays at Miller’s go faster with your good cheer and sense of humor. You were a great guy, and you will be greatly missed. Sending many fond thoughts and prayers your way.

My condolences to the Lape Family on the loss of Ray.
Ray was a one of a kind individual who was a devoted employee of Miller's Market and a volunteer in the WSL Fire Company.
He loved his Mack fire truck and took great care of her until she went out of service.
It was a pleasure to have served with him in the fire department as well as having worked with him at Miller's.
