Phyllis June Dolph Dimmer , 79

North Greenbush Phyllis June Dolph Dimmer , 79 , died Monday, May 24, 2004 at Van Rensselaer Manor in North Greenbush after a long illness.

Born in Nappanee, IN, she was the daughter of the late Jack Losee and Ethel Hoffer Losee and wife of the late John W. Dimmer.

She had resided in Indiana for 20 years and many years in the Albany area and was educated at Indiana schools.

Mrs. Dimmer was employed in the dietary department of Albany Medical Center for 13 years, retiring in 1988 and formerly at Morgan Linen in Menands.

Survivors include three sons, Edward A. Dimmer (Ellen) of Albany, William F. Dimmer (Jimma J.) of Albany and Wayne W. Dimmer of West Schenectady; three grandchildren, Noel C. Dimmer, Jaimie Lynn Dimmer and William F. Dimmer Jr.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue with Rev. Andy Russ, Chaplain of The Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 5-8pm. Interment Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands.
