Peter R. Mason, 68

Queensbury - Peter R. Mason, 68, of Cleverdale Road and Estero, Fl. died suddenly Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at his summer home on Lake George the place he loved so since childhood.

Born in Troy, NY, he was son of the late Charles Mason, Jr. and Ruth Freihofer Mason Lang and beloved husband of Barbara Wittenberg Mason.

He was a graduate of Albany Academy, Franklin and Marshall College and attended Michigan State.

Peter was the beloved father of Melissa (Peter) Lacijan of Halfmoon and Charles (Leah) Mason of Hartland, Vt; stepfather to Steven and Brian Tracey of Voorheesville and Berne NY; grandfather "pop-pop" to Sophie and Henry Lacijan, Emily and Phoebe Mason, Austin, Troy and Tyler Tracey; and sister of Pauline (Polly) Mason of Troy.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 12 NOON at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Chris Garrison, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 NOON.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Troy.
