Peter Michael Albrecht

Troy - Peter Michael Albrecht, age 62, died February 17, 2016.

Partner of Cheryl Derby of Troy; , son of the late Dr. Henry F. Albrecht and the late Catherine McArdle Albrecht of Troy, brother to Judith (John) Fitzgerald of Granby CT; Elizabeth Albrecht of NYC;, Mary Albrecht of Boston, MA; and Anne (Russell) Mayerfeld of Kenilworth, IL. Uncle to John, David (Laura) and Luke (Babyrel) Fitzgerald and to Kate and Chris Mayerfeld.

A graduate of Boston University, he was the owner of Rubicon Construction and for many years a general contractor known for his fine craftsmanship throughout the Troy area.

Peter had an enormous capacity for enduring friendship; a remarkable aptitude for innovation; an inherent generosity in imparting his unique expertise to other craftsmen,  and an unquenchable enthusiasm for sharing his love of ideas and life.

Troy - A celebration of life memorial is planned in honor of Peter Albrecht who died February 17, 2016 for Thursday Mar 31st, 2016 at Revolution Hall, Brown’s Brewing Company, 417 River Street, Troy.  This tribute will start at 5 pm in Revolution Hall. Friends of Peter are invited to attend this tribute and join his partner and family for an evening of reminiscence .
