Getting a hug from Floater was like being in the grip of an extremely friendly Grizzly Bear. I will always cherish the times we spent together, most often in front of a good band at high volume under the stars. His love for his family was never far from any discussion, and his appreciation for the good things this world contains taught me a great deal. I'm very proud he considered me a friend. Heartfelt sympathy to Sheila and family.
