Patrick Sinnott, 81

Troy - Patrick Sinnott, 81, formerly of Kennedy Towers died Friday, August 21, 2009, at Evergreen Commons after a long illness surrounded by his son and daughter.

Born in Ireland, , he was son of the late James Joseph Sinnott and Mary Rochford Sinnott and former husband of the late Annetta Rita McLaughlin Sinnott. He had resided in West Sand Lake and Troy most of his life.

Mr. Sinnott was a papermaker for Behr-Manning in Watervliet and later worked for Pinkerton Security, NL Industries, the Van Rensselaer Manor and the Rensselaer County Highway Department.

He was a member of the Troy Senior Center where he loved to shoot pool, was an avid baseball fan, on several baseball leagues and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Troy and St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a loving daughter Patricia A. Sinnott of West Sand Lake; a loving son ,Dennis P. Sinnott of West Sand Lake; his devoted grandchildren, Kelli Marie Kane, James Joseph Toteno, Ashlee Ann and Tabitha Warner; his great grandchildren, Jayda Toteno and Kandalin Warner; his sisters, MaryFrances Sinnott, Betty Dugan and Kathleen Shepherd all of Troy and Maureen Sugrue of Latham. He was predeceased by a daughter, Kathy Ann Sinnott.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:15 AM at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150, West Sand Lake.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8.

Interment will be in Eagle Mills Cemetery.
