Patricia 'Patty' Walsh McGurn, 61

West Sand Lake - Patricia 'Patty' Walsh McGurn, 61, of Seneca Road died Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Glens Falls, she was daughter of the late Willard J. Walsh and Elizabeth Russell Walsh and wife for 37 year of Kevin P. McGurn. She had resided in Delmar, Troy, Babcock Lake, Grafton and since 1976 in West Sand Lake and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Hoosick Falls.

Mrs. McGurn was self employed home and business cleaner for many years.

She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hoosick Falls VFW and a board member of the Babcock Lake Property Owners Association.

Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, John (Caitlin Avent) McGurn, Watervliet and Jeffrey (Cayla Miller) McGurn, Hudson Falls; a grandson, Gabriel McGurn 'the light of her life', a brother, Michael (Diane) Walsh, Troy; a sister, Sherry (Peter) Bearup, Babcock Lake and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake on Sunday from2-5 PM with a funeral service to follow at 5PM.

Interment will be in Park Lawn Cemetery Bennington, VT.
