Pamela Ann Rockwell, 37

Wynantskill - Pamela Ann Rockwell, 37, of Church Street died Friday, May 22, 2009, at Kenwood Residence in Delmar.

Born in Troy, she was beloved daughter of Charles Rockwell Sr. and Donna L. Quandt Rockwell. Pam was lovingly referred to as 'Bear' by her dad. She was a lifelong resident of Wynantskill and recently had been living in Delmar at the Kenwood Residence which is affiliated with OMRD and attended the New Visions Program located in Slingerlands.

Pam was an employee of Stewart's in Wynantskill for 15 years. She also worked at the North Greenbush town offices, McDonald's, and Hannaford in Wynantskill. She was an active member of the First Reformed Church in Wynantskill.

For many years Pam was a frequent passenger in the Wynantskill Fire Department fire truck during the annual memorial day parade. She was past member of the Wynantskill Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Hendrick Hudson Fish and Game Club in Poestenkill and the American Legion Bowling team. Pam often referred to Art Milanese as her skeet coach.. She was an avid NASCAR fan of Tony Stewart, the Yankees and NY Giants. As a young girl she played softball with Classie Lassie's . Pam loved animals especially Bambi her dog and Sheba her cat. She loved music and could often be found singing and dancing.

Survivors in addition to her parents include three sisters and a brother, Tammy A. (Rocco) Fragomeni of Wynantskill, Charles Rockwell Jr. of Troy, Dawn M. (Mark) Pompey of Watervliet and Renee L. (Candace) Goyer of Poestenkill. She was the special devoted aunt of Ashli and Rocco Fragomeni, CJ, Dana, Melissa, John and Aiden Rockwell, Jacob Wilcox, Kawaun Carrethers, Mark, Anthony and Thomas Pompey and DJ Goyer and a Also survived by a sister-in-law, Megan Rockwell; her God parents, Arthur Rockwell Jr. and Carol Bryan; a close friend of Pam's and her brother Charlie, Marcella Bender and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 10:00 AM at First Reformed Church of Wynantskill with Rev. Kerri Weldon, Pastor, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8PM.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery Wynantskill.
