Throughout 40 years of hard work on the EAC floats, organizing and being Commander of the Color Guard. Honoring our father each year at the grave on Flag Day. There was never a doubt how truly patriotic Otto was. Our deepest condolences to the entire Madsen family.

We will miss you, Jerry & Carole Weaver

Char, Mike, Ellen, Martha, Bobby, Otto (and the entire family), Pop was so very special to me and this has hit very hard as he was my "dad away from home dad". He took me in as "one of the kids" when I moved in upstairs and am blessed to have known both of your parents and shared wonderful memories. I just went out for some fresh air and gather my thoughts and I saw a male and female cardinal pair sitting on my bird feeder. They don't come around often usually when I am down or upset I see them. I wanted to share this with you because the cardinal bird is known to hold special spiritual meaning as they symbolize everlasting vitality. I know this is a sign that he is with Ma! May the comfort of knowing he is with mom help you through your sorrow and may Pop rest forever in peace! I love you guys so much!!! God Bless and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Otto was a fellow Ford worker and friend. He is one of the many people one meets who makes a lasting impression on you for the rest of your life. Otto was funny in his own way, but always respectful of you as a person. He always brought a smile to my face. I and so many" Ida Hillers" were so happy when Otto was able to make our most recent memories reunions at the Prospect Park pavilion. May he rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to Michael, Otto and the rest of this wonderful man's family and extended family.

Uncle Bud was one of the greatest men I've ever met! The stories he and papa would have after a night at club and aunt Margie's always had us cracking up. Those are the memories we will always have! Our hearts go out to all of you! We Love you!
