Sand Lake - Nathan J. Watts, 26,of Bower Road, was called home by the Lord surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 8, 2008.

Born in Middlebury, VT, he is mourned by his loving and devoted parents, Deborah and Richard Carkner of Sand Lake. His sister through thick 'n thin, Allona Watts (Mickey) Bauer of Wynantskill, will forever picture him walking in heaven carrying a big stick. His favorite niece, Kaylie Watts, will forever miss her 'Uncle Bubba'. He is survived by his grandmother, Shirley Bizzarro of Troy and grandfather, Richard (Marie) Ciuk of Petersburgh. Nathan's constant presence will truly be missed by all his step siblings, Richard (Mary) Carkner of Albany, Jason (Lauren) Carkner of Averill Park, Matthew Carkner of East Greenbush and Amy Carkner of East Greenbush. He also leaves his half brother, Samuel (Christine) Watts of Greenwich.

Nathan graduated in 2000 from Averill Park High School. He currently was employed by Hannaford's in West Sand Lake.

He enjoyed the martial arts, movies and LA Boxing.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake with Rev. Gary Coonradt, Pastor of Lake Avenue Community Church, officiating.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 PM.

Interment St. Henry's Cemetery, in Averill Park.
