Nancy J. Manella Pincher, 93

East Greenbush - Nancy J. Manella Pincher, 93, formerly of Seventh Avenue Watervliet died Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Albany Medical Center Hospital.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Dominick Manella and Florinda Zampini Manella and wife of the late Louis J. Pincher. She had resided in Troy most of her life and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School.

Mrs. Pincher was employed as a principal statistics clerk for New York State Department of Labor for 34 years.

She was a member of the Speigletown Elders and enjoyed crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, playing Bocci and square dancing with her husband at the Colonie Elks.

Survivors include two daughters, Florine Rogers, West Sand Lake and Judith N. (Joseph) Galarneau, Cary, NC; a son, Louis (Kathleen) Pincher Jr., Altamont; a sister, Mary F. Hagen, Cohoes; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, John A. and Patrick Manella and a sister, Philomena 'Minnie' Casey.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Wednesday from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church Brookside Avenue Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Anthony Ligato , Pastor.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Nancy J. Pincher to the St. Jude the Apostle Church Brookside Avenue Wynantskill, NY 12198.
