Dear David, Danny and family:
Wishing to express our thoughts and prayers at this time. My Mom and Dad often visited with your Mom and Dad while we were growing up. Dad and your Dad were good friends from back in their childhood days in Troy. I remember your Mom most fondly. My mother is living now at Riverside Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Castleton following surgery this summer. Her mind is often very confused and she is wheelchair bound. Dad is still home with my brother and I visiting twice daily in order to keep him there. His heart is tiring, and he is quite frail, although mentally sharp. We are blessed to still have them, but it is exhausting. Both would have dearly wanted to attend the memorial mass for your Mom, but I do not see that happening. Perhaps if Dad is having a really good day......But I am sure they would want to honor her and so I am writing for them. So sorry for your loss. She was a lovely woman. Kathleen Finn Popp
