Nadine (Bournazian) Bournazian

Albany - Nadine Bournazian, 61, died at St. Peter’s Hospital on November 17, 2014 after a long illness.

She was preceded in death, by her mother Dorothy Bournazian. Nadine was born in Worcester, MA, lived in Pittsfield, MA for 11 years and later grew up and lived in Albany. She graduated from Cornell University in 1975 with a major in agricultural science and minor in communications.  

Nadine worked at General Electric from 1987-1997 as a marketing, business, and communications manager where she designed and managed the production of multi-media communications and other training programs. She later worked at other marketing companies and volunteered her time for the Berkshire Ballet Company from 2000-2005 and served on the Board of Trustees at Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic church for the past 10 years.  

Nadine was a kind, and generous person who loved her family and friends deeply. She loved the arts and appreciated many kinds of music styles and dance. And she lived for DCI competitions every summer. She will be remembered for her tireless efforts for helping those in need and for her service to her church community. She took care of her family members for years, both near and far, going out of her way to make sure they were taken care of. Nadine is survived by her father, David Bournazian, in Albany, her brother George Bournazian, and two nephews, David and George, in Cary, NC and brother Jacob Bournazian, and nephew David and niece Ani in Washington, D.C.  

The family will receive visitors at Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church, 255 Spring Ave, Troy, NY 12180 on Friday, from 4 - 8PM. 
                                        
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 11AM at the CHURCH. 

Interment will be in  Memory Gardens Mausoleum Colonie.

Memorial donations may be made to Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church or the Lupus Foundation of America, New York Chapter.
