Mildred 'Millie' B. Ramella Taber, 76

East Greenbush Mildred 'Millie' B. Ramella Taber, 76, formerly of West Sand Lake died Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy after a long illness.

Born in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Ramella and Mildred (Doty) Ramella and wife for nearly 56 years of Raymond C. Taber.

She was raised in Rensselaer and resided in West Sand Lake for 73 years and was educated at Averill Park and West Sand Lake schools.

Mrs. Taber was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother.

She enjoyed bowling, crafts and quilting.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a son, Gary Taber (Jean) of Nassau and two daughters, Susan Taber (Michael Padelsky) of Troy and Beth Hull (David) of West Sand Lake; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Ginnie and Bob Scoville of West Sand Lake and Betty Ramella of Stephentown and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Ramella.

Funeral service will be held Monday evening at 7 PM at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Route 150 West Sand Lake with Rev. Susan Schultz and Rev. Andrew Russ of The community Hospice of Rensselaer County, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4-7 PM prior to the service. Interment Blooming Grove Cemetery in Defreestville.
