Pittstown - Michael Durkee, 22, of Kautz Hollow Road Pittstown died suddenly Wednesday, June 09, 2010.

Born in Bennington, VT, he was son of Jean D. Durkee of Johnsonville. He had resided all his life in Pittstown.

Michael worked construction for Bob Talham, Inc. in Troy for the past 3 years.

Survivors in addition to his mother include two brothers, Loren R. 'Buddie" (Colleen) Durkee of PA and Max Burns of Pittstown; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Durkee of Cossayuna, NY; a nephew, Jasper Durkee; an uncle, Earl Durkee Sr.; cousins, Earl Durkee Jr., Roger and Justin Daigneault and several additional aunts and cousins. Survivors include his extended family and friends, Jim and MJ MacDonald, Katie Ann Shaquoia and Jeremy, Vic Angrisano, George Hoffman, Bob Bariteau, Joe Bink and Andrew Kowalczyk.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial gathering at the Durkee home 792 Kautz Hollow Road Johnsonville on Saturday June 19^th.
