Maxine (Kirkpatrick) Fazioli

North Greenbush - Maxine Kirkpatrick Fazioli, 91, of Hampton Place Boulevard died peacefully February 27, 2016  at her home in the care of her loving family.

Born in Norwood, OH, March 27, 1924, she was daughter of the late Joseph Kirkpatrick and Estelle  Merriman Kirkpatrick and beloved wife since January 24, 1948 of the late Don A  Fazioli. She had resided in North Greenbush and Troy most of her life. Maxine was Valedictorian of the Class of 1942 at Moreland High School, Moreland, Kentucky and a graduate of Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing, Cincinnati, OH, Class of 1946. 

Maxine was a practicing Registered Nurse in Cincinnati, OH, Washington DC, and Troy.   

She was a member of the U.S. Cadet Nursing Corps during WW II.  She was a member early in the existence of the North Greenbush Ambulance and she and her husband volunteered together.  She was a Communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill, St. Anthony of Padua Church and St. Michael the Archangel Church in Troy. 

She was faithful to the Catholic Church and totally devoted to her adoring family.  Maxine attended countless business functions,  games, plays, school functions, birthday parties, baptisms, graduations, and events of all sorts for her beloved family. She was a longtime fan of the Cincinnati Reds, NY Yankees, Xavier Musketeers and Kentucky Wildcats.

Survivors include her nine children, Donata (Tom) Lux, Indianapolis, IN, David A. (Diane) Fazioli, West Sand Lake, Chris (Mary Ellen) Fazioli, Poestenkill, Kirk P. (Janine) Fazioli, Brunswick, Richard Fazioli, Murrells Inlet, SC, Rita (Jim) Testo, Wynantskill, Ticia (Jim) Rush, Troy, Kathy (Eric Riggins) Fazioli, Troy and Michael (Karen) Fazioli, Dexter, MI; her siblings, Jim (Lucy) Kirkpatrick, Danville, KY, Sandy (Charlie) Courtoy, Pagosa Springs, CO and Pat Kirkpatrick Burton, Stanford, KY; 22 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her siblings, Joe, Bill, Glynn and Bob.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Friday at 9:30AM at the funeral home and at 10 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Interment will be in  St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.

The family wishes to thank Judy Eddy for her compassionate care throughout Maxine's illness. The family is also grateful for the assistance of The Community Hospice of Rensselaer County.
