Matthew James Ryan, 25

Brunswick - Matthew James Ryan, 25, of Mountainview Avenue died suddenly Tuesday, February 25, 2014, in Phoenix, AZ.

Born in Albany, he was son of James M. Ryan and Carol M. Bascietto Ryan. He had resided in Brunswick all his life and attended George Washington School and Averill Park High School.

Matt was a first year student at Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, AZ. He was an avid dirt bike rider, loved trail riding and an avid fisherman.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a brother, John James Ryan, Brunswick; his maternal grandfather, Joseph Bascietto, Bowie, MD and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 4-8 PM.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, at 8:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas, Pastor.

Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Matthew James Ryan to the Sacred Heart Church Memorial Fund 310 Spring Avenue Troy, NY 12180.
