Mary Nazarian Patoukian

Watervliet - Mary Nazarian Patoukian of Watervliet, N.Y. passed away at the age of 87 at the Eddy Village Green in Cohoes, N.Y. on August 17 after a brief illness.

Mary was born in Watervliet to Dickran and Vartonoush Nazarian on December 14, 1925.

Mary graduated from Watervliet High School. Her working career started with Union Fern in Troy and then in Menands. Next, Mary, worked for RTA in Albany until her retirement. Along with working, Mary was a devoted caregiver to her mother.

Survivors are her brother, Robert (Trudy) Nazarian, sister-in-law, Ruth Nazarian, nieces, Diana (David) Lloyd, Deborah (Steven) Sawyer, many great nieces and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Albert Nazarian.

Relatives and friends may call at St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church 100 Troy-Schenectady Road Watervliet on Saturday from 9-10AM with a funeral service at 10AM. Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy. Donations may be made to St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church PO BOX 196 Watervliet, NY 12189.
